Kang-Kung (Ipomoea aquatica ) is semi-aquatic and can be consumed as a vegetable because of its tender shoots. The origin of this plant is unknown. It is commonly referred to as " Water Spinach " in English.

Amaranthus, a traditional Mexican plant; has 60+ species. Which also can be grown easily in plastic containers.
